1. Who is responsible for your information

2. What we collect
What you give us when you register or complete your profile
- Name, date of birth, gender and city
- WhatsApp number and country, and an alternate phone number if you provide one
- Height, education, profession and income, if you provide them
- Religion, caste and sub-caste, if you provide them
- Gothram and nakshatra, which we ask Hindu families after they register, if you provide them
- Family details: parents' names, brothers and sisters, property, family net worth
- Whether you are open to a match from any community, and the kind of work you would like your match to do, if you tell us
- Anything you write about yourself
- Photographs you upload
- A verification selfie, which only our verification team sees and which never appears on your profile
- Your password, which is stored only as an irreversible hash. We never see it
- Notes our team keeps on your profile, such as how you heard about us, who filled in the form, and notes from our calls with you. Only our team sees these
What we record as you use the site
- Which profiles you view, and when
- Requests you make to see photographs, and our decisions on them
- Your plan, when it started and when it ends
- Payment records: amount, date, receipt number and the payment provider's reference
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp, and when you last wrote to us
- Your IP address, used to limit repeated attempts at registration and login
We do not store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by a licensed payment provider; we receive only a reference number and the result.
3. Sensitive information
Caste, religion, gothram, nakshatra, photographs and the verification selfie are sensitive personal information. We collect them because many families rely on them when looking for a match, and we use them for nothing else. Religion, caste and community, and photographs, are needed to register. Gothram and nakshatra are not asked when you register: we ask Hindu families for them afterwards, and “Do not know” is always an answer. The verification selfie is seen only by our verification team and is never shown on your profile.
4. Why we use it
- To create your profile and have our verification team review it
- To show suitable profiles to you, and yours to suitable families
- To make introductions between families on your behalf, if your plan includes a personal matchmaker
- To take payment and give you the plan you paid for
- To message you about your profile, your plan and your requests
- To prevent fraud, fake profiles and misuse of the service
- To meet our legal and tax obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anybody. Ever.
5. Who can see what
This is the part most families ask about, so it is set out plainly.

Member pages are excluded from search engines and are not reachable without logging in.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- Our hosting and database providers, who store the data on our behalf
- Our payment provider, to take and confirm payments
- Our messaging providers, to send you WhatsApp messages about your account
- Government authorities, where the law requires it
Each of these acts on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. Some may process data outside India; where they do, we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it.
7. How long we keep it
- While your profile is active, and for up to 12 months after you close it, in case you return.
- Payment records for 8 years, because tax law requires it.
- Photographs are deleted when you delete them or when your profile is removed.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Show you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong. Most of it you can edit yourself when logged in
- Delete your profile and your photographs
- Stop messaging you: reply STOP to any WhatsApp message, or write to us
- Withdraw the consent you gave when registering
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your profile means we can no longer introduce you to anyone, so we will ask you to confirm.
9. Keeping it safe
- The whole site is served over an encrypted connection
- Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes, never as text
- Photographs are served through our own server, never as a public link
- Access to member data is restricted to staff who need it
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
10. Cookies
We use one cookie, to keep you logged in. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
11. Children
This service is not for anyone under 18. If we learn that a profile belongs to a minor we delete it immediately.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and tell you if the change is significant.
